A re-creation of the best selling Höfner Club guitars as played in the fifties and sixties by some of the most influencial rock guitarists of the time. Fitted with two original Höfner "Bar" pickups as used in the 1950s, the classic Höfner control panel in tortoiseshell, black binding with narrow white stripe, a tortoiseshell scratchplate and  nickel hardware all complement the sunburst finish perfectly. The fully hollow body with arched spruce top and maple back delivers perfect noise free blues sound and vintage tones. A master class guitar for the enthusiast player or collector. 

The President guitar has been available from Hofner since the early 1950s. Always a quality instrument aimed at the professional wanting a robust guitar with great tone the New President archtop continues in that tradition. It features a solid carved top in selected solid German spruce and an arched back in flamed maple giving deep tones and plenty of sustain. Excellent to play acoustically or plugged in. Common to all Hofner jazz guitars is the neck to body joint at the 16th fret, which ensures easy access to the upper end of the fretboard.
